It's been 2 years since I last posted a journal here or maybe even the last time I signed in.
I'm still alive and doing well, hope everyone else is.

RISD has kept me busy, but I'm graduating this May.

So I've been pretty busy. I thought I should update here for those who do read this. I finished up school here in California after wasting too much time it seems. I now have three associates degrees for no reason, but will now be finishing up my BA in the next two years (or three :/ ). I am off to Rhode Island School of Design, better known as RISD. I am leaving on the 15th, next week, to attend a transfer program for 6 weeks then will be coming back home at the end of July. My permanent move will be in September. Yes, I did turn down UCLA, CalArts, and every other school I got accepted into to go here. I hope it is very much worth my time and money.

For these upcoming six weeks I won't really have a computer or laptop of my own, so those of you who I talk to, I'm sorry but I'll be at a loss for communication.

And I've decided to upload some work tonight. Why? I have no idea. But enjoy it I guess.

Not much of an update. Brief I guess. But I'm tired.

DA just doesn't seem to attract me here as much as it used to. I do come and go sometimes, but I never stick around long enough to comment. And my devwatch is completely full. I'm sorry. I just get intimidated looking at that huge number. I am around though and love seeing peoples work as usual. Just e-mail me or something hehe

My website has been updated very slightly, www.nowmega.com , however you can see my most recent work over at www.honeyeatyoursalad.org. I have a few other things going on, I do have a collab going with sir rettic which hopefully I will get to very soon. I've been pretty busy with school.

And on a side note, for anyone wondering I've been accepted to all of the schools I've applied to thus far with the exception of UCLA who I am to hear back from soon. Despite not knowing UCLA though, it looks like I may be making quite a journey to Rhode Island. Moving from the West coast to the East coast of the US to attend Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). For those of you who don't know RISD is supposudly ranked the top art school in the nation, but is unfortunately a damn pricey school, so we'll see.

For UCLA I am only required to have between 5-10 examples of work. So this is what I'm going to be doing, submitting a cd with the website but narrowing each section down to only three. I'd like if some people can give their opinion on the top three for each section, or their favorites. PLEASE. Obviously one section will have one more. Does anyone think that'll look real strange? Having only three thumbs like that for each section? poop.

I've been letting my nerves get the best of me today. Especially since I was way too close to one deadline and am not sure whether or not it will be marked as being recieved by tommorow. Eventhough it's been sitting in their post office since  Saturday, waiting for them to pick it up. I hate this crap.

I know I'm not active here, and I'm really sorry for that. I do realize that this therefore wont get much attention, but I'm hoping a few maybe can help me out. I'm sending a cd with the below website to a couple schools I'm applying to. It is basically my portfolio with the exception of extra printed material I'm sending along with it.

I'd like to see if I can get people's opinions or advice on a few things. Obviously I'm not looking for "This website sucks" or "you need to change every piece" because I'm looking to send this out this week, maybe even possibly Wed (*updated* nope, not ready, thursday?). So if it's terrible, just leave that part out. Okay? Thanks. Now this is what I'm looking for..

1.) Any mistakes you find in coding or the usage of anything.
2.) I suck at descriptions. Any thoughts on what I could say or changes you think I should make on ANY would be great. You'll notice I may also be missing a few (depending on when you read  this.)
3.) I've cut down the photography section once already. But it can go as far as 5 there if anyone feels that a photograph should not belong.
4.) I'd like to hear what works you think are strong and which are weak (just as long as you dont think they all are) I am required to have 20 all together.
5.) And in the art section, I'd like to hear if people think it's too much digital. I've run into a problem where I don't have enough traditional work. I may throw one more in there, but then I need to know which ppl think is  the weakest.
6.) Yes I know the design section sucks right now, and yes I know thats my major. Whatever.

I guess thats about it. I'll get to all the deviations in my watch soon and I thank those who are adding me and faving work. I'll be active again once things slow down with these portfolios.
